Our Regular Gatherings

Fellowship Groups

We love and serve one another primarily in Fellowship Groups of about 8-25 people (children and adults). Within these groups we use our varied, God-given abilities to build each other up in Christ. This involves everything from encouragement throughout the week to meeting each other’s needs in very tangible ways.

In addition to spending time together over everyday activities (eating, working, shopping, fun, etc), once per week each group (including kids!) gathers specifically for a Fellowship Meal. This meal, usually a potluck, includes remembering the sacrifice of Jesus and the promise of his return through Communion. It is followed by a time of mutual edification, when the members may decide to share any of the following: Scripture reading, testimony, encouragement, exhortation, prayer request, song, needs request, or upcoming activities.

We are committed to knowing each other very well, so beyond the family connection of the Fellowship Group, every member is expected to have even closer relationships with two or three specific other members (simply called, "2o3") with whom they touch bases regularly for discipleship, confession, encouragement and prayer.

Mid-Week Teaching

We teach the Bible because it was given to us by God to help us understand what is truly important in life. We invite anyone to join us for our Mid-Week Teaching where one of our teachers will guide us through a short section of the Bible and sometimes a discussion. Join us any week! (For a statement of our beliefs, click here.)

We currently meet on Wednesdays from 7:30 - 8:45pm (Want more details? Contact us!).

Often times, any given week builds on the last, so we suggest you join us as consistently as possible! (Of course you can come any time.) If you miss a week, catch the podcast!

Children? If you have small children we REALLY want to have you at our Mid-Week Teaching, however our teaching ministry to children is not yet formed, so please arrange your own childcare for those who will not be able to sit quietly through an hour-long teaching and discussion. (And you're always encouraged to include the whole family at our Fellowship Meals!)

Community LIFE

We are eager to make Jesus known in our community! Beyond our regular church gatherings (Fellowship Meals, Mid-Week Teaching, and 2o3's), much of our ministry happens over everyday life. We believe the Church is intended to be scattered throughout society, living as a witness to the love and truth of Jesus Christ wherever we are, all the time!

Because of this, we intentionally don't plan a ton of "church events," but instead we are connected with what's already going on in the community and do our best to display Jesus Christ in those contexts. (At times we will organize "all-church" events for fun or in order to bless our community, which will be included on our social media pages.)

What about the Church Service?

We sing together at our Fellowship Meals; the Bible is taught at our Mid-Week Teaching; we use our gifts and talents to serve each other over everyday life.  Without a traditional Sunday morning service, we understand that our format is different than what many people expect "church" to be, but we've found great benefit in making a priority of smaller group relationships.

We all come together for our Mid-Week Teaching, and on the Second Sundays of the month our Fellowship Groups join together for an all-church Fellowship Meal!
